How to Get Northwest’s Good New Seats and Avoid Its Old Bad Ones
The carrier has finished installing its new “World” Business Class seat, which reclines 176 degrees, onB747-400 and A330 aircraft. Northwest still operatesDC10 aircraft, however, which are equipped with the older “Classic” seats, which only recline to 154 degrees. The airline's website says that partner KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is offering the new seats, also, but our research says that’s not true, as KLM has its own seats (see specifications below).
