
The carrier has introduced new Business Sleeper seats on its Airbus A330 and A340 aircraft on New York (Newark), Chicago, Seattle, and Washington, DC to Copenhagen and Stockholm. The new seats provide more than five feet (61 inches) of legroom, recline to 170 degrees, and are 20 inches wide between the armrests (slightly wider when folded down into a bed). Seats also have a built-in storage bin suitable for a laptop computer. The Business Class cabin has a 2x2x2 configuration, with 46 seats on the A340-300s and 34 seats on the A330-300s. SAS has also upgraded Economy Extra, its premium economy service.
